Happy 3rd Birthday Ian Mav – WE LOVE YOU!!!

oh yea – check out this cake! Do you know anyone with a cake THIS big?
Dad did a great thing and went all the way up to Culver City (for those of you out of Cali, “20 minutes”
), to bring home this gluten free/dairy free cake! However the wonderful Sensitive Baker forgot to write on it “Happy Birthday Ian Maverick” – so Mom wrote in Organic ( :) ) dark chocolate Chips – good thing the cake was big, otherwise we would have never fit it!

This was the second leg of our two week trip to the Atlantic Coast. The beaches in East Hampton are fabulous! We had a rockin’ time in the Northwest Woods where Annabelle & Pops rented an awesome house – what a pool! Mom got to relax a little and went running…..for a really long time…..seriously, I think she got lost! Dad had to “work” for a few days in NYC, but he came back to take me out to the Palm. Did someone say MEAT? We hung out with some friends & I asked two nice ladies their names – Eileen & Carmen – then asked them to come to my room and they came!; ate some Pizza – and my tummy & elbows got all itchy (Mom said ‘I told you so’). ………Note to self: Really need to come up with a good pizza with gluten free crust – that’s what Mom tells me. I got to ride in the “Oldzmbeel Converbtl” – Love the wind in my hair!

Yes, I love Pizza, just like my Dad. And nothin’ like this NY stuff! But my Mom tells me that it makes my tummy, elbows & cheeks all itchy! She’s right! Notice my black nailpolish….thanks cousing Ryan If you ask me, I don’t mind getting a little itchy for some pizza!

Well, the first leg of our 2+ weeks on the Atlantic Coast in Chatham, Cape Cod! Ian had a great time with Grandma, Uncle Rizzo, Aunt Joyce, Auntie Shea, “The Other Joyce”, and “Maffew”. We rented a GREAT (some of you know the story) house only blocks from the beach (which we still drove to with all of our stuff). Our good friends, the Foxes, were also there with their 3 kids. Beach, beach, beach…..all day, every day. Swimming in the contaminated bay….the lifeguards felt that since the warning sign was stolen, it was not their job to inform people about the bacteria level! (Boston mentality
) Anyway, no one is worse for the wear and we had fun! Scott got eaten alive by mosquitos, while hangin’ out at the beach at night for the awesome fireworks – thanks Daddy! We dug holes deeper than Ian is tall, caught Sand Crabs, and baby Horseshoe Crabs. Grandma had a little conflagration celebrating Ian Maverick’s Birthday, which Ian enjoyed immensely ! We love you and miss you all!
